Anushka Sharma To Produce Web Series In Association With Amazon

Mumbai: Actress Anushka Sharma has many feathers in her colourful hat. Apart from being a talented actor, she is a successful producer and an entrepreneur. And if latest reports are to be believed then Anushka will soon produce a web series along with her brother Karnesh Sharma. The duo’s production company Clean Slate Films is all set to venture into web series production.

Meanwhile, Anushka and Karnesh have already locked their first series with Amazon. The web series will be a gripping cop drama that will be hosted on Amazon Prime. It has also been revealed that Anushka has roped in Sudeep Sharma (who has written films like NH 10 and Udta Punjab) to helm the series. However, Anushka will not be a part of the project.

According to Filmfare, Anushka, along with her brother, has shown that they will push the envelope and break new ground with every piece of content that comes out of their production house. She is purely driven by strong ideas that makes for engaging, disruptive yet hugely entertaining cinema and wants every creative content that they produce to always resonate these values. The actress will make an official announcement regarding the project very soon.

On the work front, Anushka is gearing up for the release of Aanand L Rai’s ‘Zero’ which marks her re-union with her Jab Tak Hain Jaan co-stars Shah Rukh Khan and Katrina Kaif. She was last seen in Sui Dhaaga with Varun Dhawan which received rare reviews and raked in good numbers at the box office.
