Aashiqui fame Anu Aggarwal showed her support to Paresh Rawal’s claim on drinking urine for healing. She said that it’s an ancient old practise called, ‘Amaroli’ and she herself has practised it.
Hungama actor, Paresh Rawal in an interview with the Lallantop spoke about an injury he suffered while filming the action film ‘Ghatak’. He was hurt during shoot and was rushed to a hospital in Mumbai. While recovering, he received an advice from late action director Veeru Devgan. The director suggested him to drink his own urine first thing in the morning. The ‘Oh My God’ actor took the idea seriously. The actor recovered from his injury in just a month. To his surprise, the reports came in one-and-a-half months later, even the doctors were shocked by the reports.
After the statement given by Paresh Rawal made headlines, actress Anu Aggarwal showed her support. In an interview with Instant Bollywood, she revealed that it’s a urine therapy, known as Amaroli in ancient yoga. She said, “Many people don’t know this… whether its ignorance or just a lack of awareness, but drinking urine, which is referred to as Amaroli, is actually a mudra (practise) in Hatha Yoga. I’ve practised it myself. All of us have tried it, and it’s a very important practise.”
