Mumbai: After signing Karan Johar’s magnum opus ‘Takht’, Janhvi Kapoor has signed her third project with Dharma Productions. The film is said to be a biopic based on the life of IAF pilot Gunjan Saxena who was one of the brave warriors who fought for the country during the Kargil war.
When asked of his decision to cast Janhvi in the role, Producer Karan Johar said he firmly believes that Janhvi has what it takes to convincingly portray the role on screen.
According to a report in a leading daily, Angad Bedi is all set to star opposite Janhvi in the film. Earlier, it was being said that Dulquer Salmaan was the original choice to play Janhvi’s love interest in the film. However, Angad has replaced Salmaan in the film.
Angad Bedi, who married actress Neha Dhupia earlier this year, has done films like Soorma and Tiger Zinda Hai recently. The couple was recently blessed with a baby daughter.
On the work front, Bedi is currently shooting for ‘The Zoya Factor’ which stars Neerja actress Sonam Kapoor and South Superstar Dulquer Salmaan in lead roles.
