Bhubaneswar, Mar 30: The seventh edition of Ruchi Odia Film Fair Award was held at Utkal Mandap here on Wednesday.
Bollywood diva Urmila Matondkar was the special attraction of the evening. She presented the awards to the winners in 30 different categories in the presence of Ollywood celebrities and thousands of fans.
Veteran director S. Chakrapani was felicitated with the life time achievement award.
Dr. Iti Samanta was awarded the best story award for the Himanshu Khatua directed film Krantidhra.
Ollywood heartthrob Babusan Mohanty was awarded as the best actor for Love Pain Kuchh Bhi Karega while Barsha Priyadarshini was given the best actress award for her outstanding acting in Chhati Tale Ding Dong.
Similarly, the Babusan-Elina starred movie – Love Station was awarded the best film award while its director Ashok Pati was given the best director’s award.
Actor Sabyasachi Mishra was conferred with the best actor (critics choice) award. Akash Das Nayak and Puspa Das were awarded as the best supporting actor and actress respectively.
Satyajit Pradhan and Ananya Sritam Nanda were awarded with best singer male and female awards respectively.
