Amruta Khanvilkar denies separation rumours, warns of legal action
The reports of their split and them living separately were dismissed by Amruta herself, who labelled it as baseless and derogatory.
Mumbai: Actress Amruta Khanvilkar was quiet until recently about reports about her and husband, actor Himanshu Malhotra living separately.
Addressing the reports the actress said it to be untrue, baseless and defamatory and cautioned people about taking legal action.
Accusations had been made that the couple have been residing at separate addresses for a significant amount of time, igniting a storm of debate regarding marital trouble.
Amruta and Himanshu have now put an end to the speculation.
They deny the accusations and appeal to the media and other parties concerned not to broadcast falsehoods on the subject of their private lives.
The couple, who married in 2015, have previously spoken about keeping their personal relationship away from excessive public attention.
During an interview in 2017, Amruta had stated that Himanshu was her best friend and that they aspired to age together.
This statement seems to be one of the boldest they have made so far and it reiterates that the duo will not hesitate to take the legal route in order to maintain their integrity and privacy.
