Amitabh Bachchan To Join Abhisekh And Aishwarya In ‘Gulab Jamun’ ?

Mumbai: B-Town’s most glamourous couple, Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan are all set to come together on the silver screen in Anurag Kashyap’s Gulab Jamun. As per reports, the movie is a going to be a light, slice-of-life film and the couple is super-excited to be a part of such a beautiful project. The fact that they are reuniting on the silver screen after a gap of 8 years is what this makes this movie even more special.

However, rumour mills are abuzz with talks that Amitabh Bachchan may soon join his real-life son and daughter-in-law in ‘Gulab Jamun’. A close film source has revealed that the makers of the film had given a narration to Big B last year after narrating the story to Abhi-Ash. Senior Bachchan had then suggested the producer of the film, Anurag Kashyap, to bring about a few changes in the script.

As per latest inputs, Kashyap has again approached Amitabh Bachchan after making the suggested changes and if things fall into place then senior Bachchan will be the latest entrant to join the already impressive starcast of ‘Gulab Jamun’. However, nothing is known about his role in the film. Official confirmation over this news is yet to be received from the makers.

Interestingly, if Big B joins ‘Gulab Jamun’ then this will be the second time the trio- Amitabh, Abhisekh and Aishwarya, will be seen together in a film after a decade. They had last appeared in Ram Gopal Verma’s Political drama ‘Sarkar Raj’ which had released in 2008.
