American fast-food restaurants chain, Chipotle, changed their name to ‘Chicotle’ on Twitter after BTS member Jeon Jungkook mispronounced its name on a viral video.
Recently, in a Bangtan Bomb video, released on Bangtan TV’s YouTube channel, the septet can be seen enjoying their lunch. The event took place in US, after their Crosswalk Concert performance for The Late Late Show With James Corden.
In the video, BTS members Jungkook an J-hope can be seen going through the lunch menu, followed by the rest of the members. JK then snuck a peek inside the packed container of chipotle. He then asked the staff how to eat that and with their guidance, he mixed the chipotle sauce with the burrito bowl. As he loved the dish, he asked the crew what it was called. “What is this, chicotle?” asked Jungkook and then said “chipotle?”
Many ARMYs took the clip to their Twitter accounts to rename the brand as ‘Chicotle’. They wrote “If Jungkook says ‘Chicotle’, then that’s what it is from now on.”

Hours after the video was uploaded, the Mexican fast food chain renamed its Twitter handle from ‘Chipotle’ to ‘Chicotle’. The Twitter account also retweeted a tweet that shared a clip in which Jungkook was seen pronouncing the name. In reply the brand wrote, “It’s chicotle from now on.”

The tweet of the social media user read, “If Jungkook said it’s chicotle then it’s chicotle (crying emojis) that’s it.” The brand also shared a tweet, “gm tannies.” ‘Tannies’ is a nickname of ARMYs, BTS fandom call the group members which is taken from Bangtan’s ‘tan’.

In the Bangtan Bomb video, all the members, except V, were seen having chipotle after Jungkook liked the dish. V aka Kim Taehyung, preffered Hamburger as he doesn’t like spicy food. The youngest member, shared his food woth J-Hope and while enjoying his meal he said, “This is good. I love this. I want to eat this every day.”
