Mumbai: The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) has conducted a search of actor Arjun Rampal’s home in Mumbai’s Andheri area on Monday, in connection with drugs linked to the film industry, sources said.
The NCB has not revealed anything about the raids yet. Further details are awaited.
Earlier, NCB had arrested Arjun Rampal’s girlfriend Gabriella Demetriades’ brother Agisilaos Demetriades in connection to the ongoing drugs case probe linked to the death of actor Sushant Singh Rajput. The NCB had seized hashish and alprazolam tablets from Agisilaos.
Yesterday, Bollywood producer Firoz Nadiadwala’s wife was arrested by the NCB after 10 grams of marijuana was allegedly found at their Mumbai home in raids.
She was taken for a medical examination today. The filmmaker has also been summoned for questioning by the NCB, said ANI in twitter.
The investigations into the drug syndicate in Bollywood started after actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty revealed many celebrities name during the investigation about the actor’s death in June.
