Mumbai: According to reports, TV actress Aalisha Panwar will be replacing Hina Khan as Komolika in Ekta Kapoor’s ‘Kasauti Zindagi Kay 2’. A source has revealed that ‘Ishq Mein Marjaawan’ fame Aalisha Panwar might join in as Komolika after Hina exits the show. However, reports suggest that Krystle D’souza and Anita Hassnandani are also in the running for the part. An official confirmation is awaited.
Talking about it, a source stated to a leading portal, “There are several faces which have been approached. Ishq Mein Marjawan fame Aalisha Panwar is one of them and she seems to be an appropriate choice out of the selected ones.”
Hina, best known for her character Akshara from the Star Plus show ‘Ye Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’ garnered huge appreciation for her act as Komolika in ‘Kasauti Zindagi Kay 2’, which stars Parth Samthani and Erica Fernandez as Anurag and Prerna.
Despite being loved by the audiences, Hina decided to quit the show for her Bollywood debut ‘Lines’ which also stars veteran actress Farida Jalal. Directed by Hussain Khan, ‘Lines’ is written by Rahat Kazmi and Shakti Singh.
Besides this, Hina has also signed Pawan Sharma’s short film titled ‘Soulmate’, where she stars opposite Vivan Bhatena.
