World leaders congratulate PM Modi on massive victory in Lok Sabha Elections

New Delhi : As the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) heads towards a massive victory in Lok Sabha elections 2019, World leaders congratulated Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday.

Russian President Vladimir Putin was among the first international dignitaries to wish PM Narendra Modi today. As per the News Agency ANI, Putin sent congratulatory telegram to PM Narendra Modi in connection “with the convincing victory of the BJP at the general parliamentary elections.”

President of Maldives Ibrahim Mohamed Solih took Twitter route to congratulate PM Modi on his historic victory in general elections.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has congratulated PM Modi saying together India and Israel will continue to strengthen the great friendship.

 

Bhutan King Jigme Khesar Namgyel Wangchuck, Nepal Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli and  Sri Lanka PM Ranil Wickremesinghe congratulated  PM Narendra Modi through Twitter.

 

Other global  leaders, who have congratulated PM Modi Chinese President  Xi Jinping include Cyprus President Nicos Anastasiades, Protugese PM António Costa, Tanzanian President Dr John Magufuli,
