World leaders congratulate PM Modi on massive victory in Lok Sabha Elections

New Delhi : As the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) heads towards a massive victory in Lok Sabha elections 2019, World leaders congratulated Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday.

Russian President Vladimir Putin was among the first international dignitaries to wish PM Narendra Modi today. As per the News Agency ANI, Putin sent congratulatory telegram to PM Narendra Modi in connection “with the convincing victory of the BJP at the general parliamentary elections.”

President of Maldives Ibrahim Mohamed Solih took Twitter route to congratulate PM Modi on his historic victory in general elections.

Congratulations to PM @narendramodi on his historic victory in the Indian general elections. It is a strong affirmation of the Indian people's confidence in the BJP/led government. I look forward to closer and enhanced ties of Maldives-India cooperation.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has congratulated PM Modi saying together India and Israel will continue to strengthen the great friendship.
