Bhubaneswar: Adding to his repeated visit of Odisha ahead of polls, PM Narendra Modi will arrive in the State today and address an election rally of BJP in Bhawanipatna of Kalahandi district.

As per the lotus party sources, Modi will arrive at the scheduled venue for its ‘Vijay Sankalp Samavesh’ at Radhakrishna Nagar in Bhawanipatna at around 11 am.

While this will be Modi’s second visit to the State within a span of a week, it is being expected that he would launch a scathing attack on the ruling BJD government at the State over several issues.

While kicking off the saffron party’s poll campaign in Odisha at Koraput’s Jeypore on March 29, Modi urged voters to ensure ‘double engine’ (BJP government both at Centre and Odisha) in the upcoming election. He also claimed that Odisha can develop at a fast pace only if BJP is voted to power at both Centre and the State.

Notably, for Kalalahandi Lok Sabha seat BJP has fielded party’s State president Basant Panda whereas BJD and Congress have chosen Puspendra Singhdeo and Bhakta Charan Das respectively.
