Farmers’ welfare our priority, reiterates Naveen in Nabarangpur

Nabarangpur: Reiterating his government’s commitment towards farmers of Odisha BJD supremo Naveen Patnaik again assured that, their development is his top priority, while addressing at an election campaign in Nabarangpur district today.

The BJD supremo, who addressed at Raighar, Jharigaon and Maidalpur in the district also insisted to serve his family of 4 crore Odia till his last breath.

After starting his address with trade mark style lines, ‘Apana Mane Khusi Ta’, Naveen didn’t lose a chance to hit at the Central leaders of BJP by asking where they were when Odisha was struggling with natural disasters like Phailin and Hudhud. He jibed at the saffron party leaders in Odisha also by alleging that they are visiting the State only now when the poll is round the corner.

Repeating his announcement made at Jeypore in Koraput district yesterday, Naveen said so far around 40 lakh farmers of Odisha have reaped the benefit of KALIA scheme and the remaining 25 lakh will get the Rs 10,000 assistance in one lot on the very day his party forms the next government in the State. This makes the payment of pending two installments of the KALIA assistance in one go, he added.

Accusing the BJP leaders of shedding crocodile tears for Odisha, Naveen asked what happened to their earlier promises for 10 crore jobs, doubled MSP for paddy and new rail line in Nabarangpur.

Naveen campaigned for BJD’s Lok Sabha candidate for Nabarangpur and all its assembly candidates in the district today.
