Bhubaneswar: The much awaited election manifesto of Congress party in Odisha will be released in the April first week, informed OPCC president Niranjan Patnaik here today.
While reacting to media persons in the city, Patnaik informed that in the upcoming manifesto of the party farmers, agriculture, women and youth will get due importance.
Earlier, the party had announced to release its manifesto by February-end.
Worth mentioning, Odisha Congress has adopted the poll manifesto preparation procedure of party’s Chhattisgarh unit, which brought landslide victory for it in last Assembly election. As a part of the plan a five-member delegation from the neighbouring State had visited Odisha in February.
In Chhattisgarh Congress activists carried out door-to-door visit to collect information from voters on prevailing issue to compose the election manifesto which worked wonders.
