Bhubaneswar: The Central Election Committee (CEC) of the All India Congress Committee announced the names of its candidate for 7 Lok Sabha (LS) and 20 Assembly seats in Odisha today.
While the LS list of the grand old party includes at least two women candidates namely, Madhumita Sethi for Bhadrak and Pratima Mallick for Jagatsinghpur constituencies the Assembly list encloses an equal number of them.

Notably, election for Parliamentary and Assembly constituencies will be held in Odisha this year simultaneously in four phases on April 11, 18, 23 and 29. Counting will take place on May 23.
