Paradip: In yet another blow to Odisha BJP struggling with pre-poll dissidence, an active member of party’s youth wing in the port city Paradip, Gatikrushna Satpathy today resigned from its primary membership.

Satpathy, who was a hard core organisational worker in Paradip and also worked as an executive member of the Odisha unit of Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM) tendered his resignation letter to lotus party’s Odisha head Basant Panda this morning.

Later, in his reaction to media Satpathy alleged that, the growing moral value in the party these days compelled him to take the decision. Substantiating his claim, he cited the example of former BJD leader Damodar Rout’s inclusion into the saffron party and protested it by dubbing him as a corrupt leader with criminal background.

Without clearing the air on his next course of action, Satpathy informed that he would take the right decision soon after consultation with supporters and well-wishers.
