Bhubaneswar: Three days after Chief Secretary Suresh Mohapatra announced dates for the upcoming Odisha matric exam, the Board Of Secondary Education, Odisha gave elaborate information about the exam (summative -II) pattern of High School Course and Madhyama Course and final exam of SOSC exam, 2022.
In a press meet at the board office today, the BSE officials informed that the first sitting of the exam will begin at 8 AM and the second sitting from 11 AM. However, there will not be second sitting for the High School Course.
While the Madhayama 2nd sitting will be for 2 exam days, for the SOSC 2nd sitting will be for 3 exam days (HS (theory & Practical) & PT (Theory).
Here are some important details the students need to know before the exam:
- For all subjects except the vocational trades and TLV exam will be conducted out of 80 marks. The time during will be 2 hours for these subjects excepting MTH for which it will be 2 hours and 15 minutes. There will be 4 sets of questions.
- The total 80 marks will have 50 multiple choice questions and 30 subjective.
- MCQs will be answered in OMR Answer Sheet.
- 30 marks subjective question will be answered in Question-cum Answer Booklet.
- In GSC & SSC 4 number of subjective questions will come.
- In other 3 subjective questions will come.
- Vocational trade theory will be conducted out of 30 marks which will be subjective. There will be no MCQ and hence no OMR answer sheet.
- Vocational trade practical will be conducted out of 50 marks. It will be conducted at their own schools under the direct supervision of OSEPA from 02/04/2022 to 13/04/2022.
- TLV Theory will be conducted out of 20 marks and practical will be conducted for 60 marks. Practical will be conducted at respective centres.
- Question of regular and ex-regular candidates of HSC will be different from GSC & SSC subjects.
- The students will be given extra 15 minutes for the math exam.
It is to be noted here that the HSC board exam will be conducted from April 29, 2022 till May 6, 2022.
