The Gandhi Fellowship is an initiative of the Piramal Foundation for graduates or postgraduate students. The fellowship aims to measure the holistic development and growth of each fellow.

The Gandhi Fellowship 2022 curriculum works towards building and strengthening every fellow’s leadership quality. The selected candidate will receive variable awards.

Eligibility of Gandhi Fellowship

  • To be eligible, an applicant must –
  • Be 18-26 years of age and single
  • Be an achiever in Academics and Extracurricular activities (Sports, NCC, NSS, voluntary work, performing arts, debate, literature etc)
  • Be sensitive towards the pressing problems of the nation
  • Be a Graduate and Postgraduate degree holder from any of the diverse streams: Engineering, Applied and Pure Science, Commerce, Management, Humanities and Liberal Arts, Social Work, Psychology and Behavioural Science, Mathematics, Journalism and Mass Communication, Education, Law etc.

Benefits of Gandhi Fellowship

  • The selected candidates will receive a basic grant of Rs 14,000 which is divided into basic monthly sustenance of Rs 7000 (pre-tax) and an interest-free reserve amount* of Rs 1,61,000 lakhs cumulated from the remaining Rs 7,000.
