First merit list for Plus Three admission declared in Odisha

Bhubaneswar: The first merit list of the selected candidates for admission into Plus Three courses in 915 degree colleges across the state was announced by the Department of Higher Education (DHE), Odisha on Tuesday.

Total 2,21,289 students had registered their names for admission, out of which 1,14,331 students have been selected for admissions into the Arts stream in the first phase and 19,753 students got through in Commerce stream.

As many as 29,131 candidates have also been selected in the Science stream and 20,346 students have been selected for physical science and biological science respectively.

The students can visit the official websites- www.dheodisha.gov.in and www.samsodisha.gov.in to get the detail information about the +3 admissions.

The selected candidates will take admission between July 4 and July 7.

As per schedule, the second round merit list is scheduled to be released on July 11 and the second phase admission will be held for two days starting July 12.

There will be auto-admission after the second merit list, if neesded.

The classes are slated to begin from July 16.

Notably, the application process had started through a Common Application Form (CAF) on DHE, Odisha’s official websites from June 12.
