CBSE 10th results likely in June, Check latest updates on marking pattern

New Delhi: Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), is likely to release class 10th results in June. The correction process is nearing completion and on the completion of the same, the results would be out for the students on the official websites, cbse.gov.in and cbseresults.nic.in . However, before the declaration of the result,  CBSE would be deciding on the weightage to be carried by Term 1 and Term 2 examinations.

The decision regarding the Term 1 and Term 2 weightage has not been finalised yet by the board. The panel meeting for the same is scheduled for second week of June for the final CBSE Result 2022. “Usually the marks are uploaded and then the provisional result is prepared and analysed. In the academic panel meeting, the board officials then decide on the year’s moderation policy. This year, the panel would also decide on the weightage”, experts say.

About the final procedure, it is being said that it is only the internal panel that is aware of the actual situation. Once the final decision is made, it should take aout five days for the results to be published. Teachers who are actively involved in the evaluation process consider 50:50 spilt would ensure that all the students pass with decent results.

“From what I understand, there is bound to be a large discrepancy in the Term 1 and Term 2 results of the students. Even though Term 2 question papers have been very easy, we have noticed that students have not really done that well. In Term 1, however, no matter if people admit or not, a lot of cheating has happened!”, a senior teacher shared.
