Bhubaneswar region records 92.15% pass rate in CBSE

Bhubaneswar: Bhubaneswar region recorded 92.15% pass percentage in the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) Class X results, declared on Saturday.

As many as 73,000 students had appeared in the examination in the Bhubaneswar region that includes Odisha, Chhattisgarh and West Bengal.

There were 17,294 board-based and 5,784 school-based students from Odisha.

The overall pass percentage in the country was 90.95% against last year’s 96.21%.

Trivandrum region topped the list with 99.85%. It was followed by Chennai (99.62%) and Chandigarh (94.34%).

Students can check their marks on the websites cbse.nic.in or cbseresults.nic.in.

Candidates can also call on the toll-free number — 1800 11 8004 to know their results.
