Post Matric Scholarships for SC Students, Punjab 2022-23 is an opportunity offered by the Department of Social Justice, Empowerment & Minorities, Government of Punjab for SC students of Class 11 and above.
The Post Matric Scholarships for SC Students, Punjab 2022-23 aims to provide financial assistance to Scheduled Caste students studying at the post-matriculation or post-secondary stage so that they can complete their education. The selected students will receive up to Rs 1,200 per month and several other benefits.
Eligibility
- Be an Indian Citizen
- Belong to the Scheduled Caste category
- Be studying in a recognized post-matriculation or post-secondary course
- Have passed the matriculation, higher secondary, or any higher examination of a recognized university or board of secondary education
- Have a family income of not more than Rs 2.5 lakh per annum
Benefits
- The selected students will receive the following benefits:
- Maintenance allowance (up to Rs 1,200 per month)
- Reimbursement of compulsory non-refundable fees
- Study tour charges
- Thesis typing/printing charges for research scholars
- Book allowance for students pursuing correspondence courses
- Book bank facility for specified courses
- Additional allowance for students with disabilities, for the complete duration of the course

Terms and Conditions
- The candidates studying in the same stage of education in a different subject after passing that stage with another subject e.g. I.A. after I.Sc. or B.A. after B.Sc. or M.A. in other subjects will not be eligible for this scholarship.
- The recipients of this scholarship cannot hold any other scholarship/stipend.
