Twin City Covid Update: Bhubaneswar reports 68 covid positive cases, Cuttack reports 5 cases

Bhubaneswar: As on November 29 (till 9am), the Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC) has reported 68 new covid positive cases. On the other hand, Cuttack city (CMC area) has reported 5 new cases.

According to reports by BMC, out of the total 68 positive cases detected today, 18 positive cases are quarantine cases while local contact cases are 50. The positive cases linked with earlier positive cases are 18.

The total cases in Bhubaneswar now stand at 1, 21,236 while the total recovered cases are 1, 18, 835. The total death cases recorded in the BMC is 1085.  Active cases in the city are 1295.

Out of the total 5 cases registered in CMC on Monday, 02 cases are from home quarantine, and 03 are local contact cases. On the other hand, zero cases of institutional quarantine were registered today.

Total Covid-19 cases in Cuttack city are 45,192 while the recovered cases are 44,578. The active cases today are 523.

In the last 24 hours, Cuttack city has reported 8 recovered cases informed CMC while in Bhubaneswar 115 recovered cases were registered.

A total of 197 Covid-19 positive cases including 25 in the 0-18 years age group have been detected positive in Odisha in the last 24 hours.

Among the 197 positives, 115 are quarantine cases and 82 are local contacts.
