The Ministry of Health in Israel said recently that it has detected a new Covid variant through which two people have been infected.
The officials however have not been too tense about the fact.
The strain is allegedly a combination of BA.1 and BA.2 strains of Omicron. It was recorded in two passengers arriving at the Ben Gurion airport in Israel.
The pandemic response chief of Israel, Salman Zarka has however said that there is nothing to worry as the cases have been quarantined.
The symptoms are mild with fever, headaches and muscle dystrophy, and special medical response has not been required yet.
The cases however are under observation added health officials.
It is noteworthy that, more than four million people out of Israel’s population of 9.2 million have received three coronavirus vaccine shots.
