India Records 5,476 Covid Positives, 158 Deaths In 24 Hours

Bhubaneswar/ New Delhi: India on Sunday reported a further decline in fresh Covid-19 cases with 5,476 infections recorded in the past 24 hours, as per Union Health Ministry.

9,754 recoveries in the last 24 hours.

India recorded 158 Covid-related deaths pushing the toll to 5,15,036.

As per government data, India has an active caseload of 69,897 which accounts for 0.17 per cent of the total cases.

According to the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), 77,28,24,246 samples have been tested up to March 5 for COVID-19. Of these 9,09,985 samples were tested.

The number of daily cases in Delhi has been on the decline.
