New Delhi: The Covid graph in India continued to show an upward curve as the country reported 2.71 lakh cases today.
As many as 314 people have died of Covid during the past 24-hour period, according to the Health Ministry.
The country’s caseload now stands at 3.71 crore. This includes 7,743 cases of the Omicron variant which is now present in 28 states.
The daily positivity rate saw a marginal improvement from 16.66 per cent to 16.28 per cent while the weekly positivity rate was recorded at 13.69 per cent.
The cumulative doses administered in the country so far under the nationwide vaccination drive has exceeded 156.76 crore, the ministry said.
