Yezdi launches three motorcycles in India, Will Royal Enfield face the heat of competition

Motorcycle manufacturer Yezdi has launched its new range of bikes in India today. The new range of Yezdi bikes includes new models like Yezdi Adventure, Yezdi Scrambler and Yezdi Roadster. For those who are unknown about Yezdi, it is owned by Classic Legends Private Limited that owns Jawa motorcycles. After Jawa and BSA, Yezdi is the third brand that is revived by Classic Legends.

The Yezdi Adventure, Yezdi Scrambler and Yezdi Roadster share the same 334 cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled, DOHC engine from the Jawa Perak. The price of the three motorcycles is Rs 1.98 lakh to Rs 2.18 lakh. Even though Adventure, Scrambler, and Roadster share the same engine, they have a separate look against each other.

Yezdi Roadster

The Yezdi Roadster is the motorcycle which can be preferred for your everyday ride. It gets a digital speedometer, LED headlamps and turn indicators. Other important features of the Yezdi Roadster include dual cradle chassis, dual disk brake at the front and rear and dual channel ABS. The 334cc engine of the motorcycle produces maximum power of 29.70 PS and a maximum torque of 29.00 NM.The Yezdi Roadster is offered in five colours- Grey, Blue, Green, Grey and Silver. The Yezdi Roadster costs between Rs 1.98 lakh to Rs 2.06 lakh.

Yezdi Scrambler

The Yezdi Scrambler is for those who would prefer a bit of adventure along with daily commuting. The motorcycle has a beak over the mudguards and resembles like a dirt bike. From the side profile the bike looks like a Honda CB350RS. The suspension at the front is telescopic while the shock absorbers at the rear are gas charged. The bike gets three switchable modes-Road, Rain & Off-road. The 334cc engine of the motorcycle produces maximum power of 29.10 PS and a maximum torque of 28.20 NM.The Yezdi Scrambler is offered in five colours- Orange, Yellow, Olive, Red, Green and Blue. The Yezdi Scrambler costs between Rs 2.04 lakh to Rs 2.10 lakh.

Yezdi Adventure

The third motorcycle launched by the company (Yezdi) is Yezdi Adventure. This motorcycle is for those whose hobby for touring and off-roading. The Yezdi Adventure is an able contender for the Royal Enfield Himalayan. The Adventure gets a uniquely designed fuel tank, tall windscreen, higher handlebars, and higher exhaust. The Yezdi Adventure gets an instrument cluster that has two LCD clusters within it. The instrument cluster also gets Bluetooth connectivity and turn-by-turn navigation. The 334cc engine of the motorcycle produces maximum power of 30.20 PS and a maximum torque of 29.90 NM.The Yezdi Adventure is offered in three colours- Silver, Black and Camo. It is priced between Rs 2.09 lakh to Rs 2.18 lakh.
