Yamaha RayZR 125 Fi Hybrid launched in India at Rs 76,830; Check feature details

Yamaha Motor has launched the RayZR 125 Fi Hybrid and the Street Rally 125 Fi Hybrid scooter in the Indian market with a starting price of Rs 76,830 (ex-showroom, New Delhi).

Yamaha RayZR 125 Fi Hybrid Price

The Yamaha 125 Fi Hybrid scooter price starts from Rs 76,830 for the base drum variant and the Street Rally 125 Fi Hybrid variant cost starts from Rs 83,830.

The regular variant is available in Cyan Blue and Metallic Black colour schemes for the drum variant while the disc-equipped version is offered in new Racing Blue and Reddish Yellow Cocktail color options alongside Cyan Blue, Matt Red, Metallic Black and MotoGP edition.

The Street Rally is available in the new Matt Copper and Sparkle Green shades.

Yamaha RayZR 125 Fi Hybrid Engine and features

The new scooter is powered by a 125 cc air-cooled single-cylinder petrol engine that produces a maximum power output of 8.2 PS at 6,500 rpm and 10.3 Nm of peak torque delivered at 5,000 rpm.

The RayZR 125 Fi Hybrid uses a Smart Motor Generator (SMG) system which is also seen in the Yamaha Fascino Hybrid.

The Japanese manufacturer claims that the Smart Motor Generator (SMG) technology provides power assist while the two-wheeler accelerating from a stop and after about three seconds the Power Assist function is cancelled. The two-wheeler also have auto engine start/stop.

The scooter features an LED headlamp in the disc brake variant, LED position lamp, Quiet Engine Start System, a fully digital instrument cluster with Bluetooth connectivity, Unified Brake System (UBS) and Yamaha Motorcycle Connect X application in the disc version, side stand engine cut-off, etc.

The 2021 Yamaha RayZR 125 Fi Hybrid has storage capacity of 21 litres and the hybrid version is claimed to returns an increased fuel economy by 16 per cent.

The 2021 Yamaha RayZR 125 Fi Hybrid weighs 99 kilograms.

The key highlights of the Ray ZR Street Rally 125 Fi Hybrid are coloured wheel stripes, brush guard, block pattern tyres, metal plates and many more.

The company is expected to introduce the dual-channel variant of the MT-15 as its next two-wheeler followed by the R15M and the Aerox 155 moto scooter.

The R15M is expected to be priced above the existing V3 while the Aerox is speculated to be powered by the same 155 cc engine as the V3.
