Yamaha introduces two colour variants of Yamaha FZS 25 in India, Check price and availability

Yamaha has introduced new colour variants of Yamaha FZS 25 in India. This comes as a bit of surprise as we were expecting Yamaha to launch the 2022 version of the FZS25. The new colours that were introduced were all-new Matte Copper and Matte Black.

The Yamaha FZS 25 was earlier available in Patina Green, White-Vermillion and Dark Matt Blue. Now the total colour options available for the Yamaha FZS 25 are five. On the other hand the FZ 25 variant continues to be sold in Racing Blue and Metallic Black colours.

In terms of power, the new 2022 FZS25 will be powered by the same 249cc single-cylinder engine that is coupled with a five-speed gearbox. The engine produces a 20.5 bhp of peak power and 20.1 Nm of maximum torque. The suspension of the bike is handled by telescopic forks at the front and a mono-shock at the rear. In terms of safety, the motorcycle gets dual disc brakes along with dual-channel ABS. The FZS25 gets full-LED lighting and LCD instrument display, side stand and engine cut-off switch and dual-channel ABS.

The new Yamaha FZS25 has a launch price of Rs 1.43 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi). The Yamaha FZS25 is quite an excellent commuter/ tourer available in the Indian market at a price range of under Rs 1.5 lakh.

The Yamaha FZS25 goes up against the likes of Bajaj Dominar 250, Bajaj Pulsar F250/ N250 and the Suzuki Gixxer 250.

Recently the bike manufacturer has launched the 2022 FZS variants- FZS and FZS DLX in the Indian market. The bikes get a cosmetic upgrade along with some other upgrades.

Both the Yamaha FZS and FZS DLX are powered by a same 149cc BS6-compliant engine. The 149cc air-cooled engine churns out 12 bhp of power at 7350 rpm and 13 Nm of peak torque at 5500 rpm. The engine is mated with a 5 speed gearbox. In terms of suspension, the FZS and FZS DLX have telescopic forks at the front and mono-shock at the rear.

Both the Yamaha FZS and FZS DLX are priced aggressively in comparison with other 150cc segment bikes in the Indian market. The FZS-Fi has priced at Rs 1.16 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi) while the FZS DLX will cost Rs 1.19 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).
