Yamaha Fascino 125 hybrid launched in India at a starting price of Rs 70,000

Yamaha Motor India has launched the Yamaha Fascino 125 hybrid at a starting price of Rs 70,000. This updated model of Yamaha Fascino offers some new features to users in comparison to the outgoing model. The prime focus in the scooter available for the users is the hybrid assist function.

According to Yamaha, the new Fascino 125 gets a Smart Motor Generator (SMG). The SMG provides a hybrid power assistance to the vehicle as it is taking off from a still position. The hybrid assistance also kicks in while the vehicle is climbing a hill or an incline.

The notification about the operation of power assist function can be seen by the rider. It is important to note that the hybrid power assistance of the scooter is automatic.

Some important features and specifications of the Yamaha Fascino 125 are as follows:

Engine: According to Yamaha, the Fascino 125 provides a torque up to 10.3Nm which is quite higher when compared to the previous model.

Mileage: The previous model Fascino returned a mileage of 57.08kmpl in the city while it returned 64.2kmpl on the highway.

Features: The Fascino 125 gets new LEDs and a digital display which is compatible with Yamaha Motorcycle Connect X Bluetooth app. However, some features are only limited to the disc brake model of the Fascino 125.

Colours: The disc version of the new fascino is offered in 9 colour variants which include Vivid Red Special, Matt Black Special, Cool Blue Metallic, Dark Matt Blue, Suave Copper, Yellow Cocktail, Cyan Blue, Vivid Red and Metallic Black.

Meanwhile, the drum brake version of the scooter is available in 7 colours which include Vivid Red, Cool Blue Metallic, Yellow Cocktail, Dark Matt Blue, Suave Copper, Cyan Blue, and Metallic Black.

Price: While the drum brake model of the scooter costs Rs 70,000, the disc brake model is priced at Rs 76,530.
