New Delhi: Vodafone has revised its 365-days prepaid recharge plan which is worth Rs 1,699. The revised plan will now offer 1.5GB data per day. With data also come unlimited calls on local, STD and national roaming networks. Additionally, 100 SMS messages per day and access to Vodafone Play, the operator’s content and infotainment service will be given.
Vodafone’s Rs 1,699 plan previously offered 1GB daily data for 365 days or a total of 365GB data. The plan has now been revised to offer 1.5GB data daily, which adds to a total of 547.5GB for the entire validity period, which is 182.5GB more compared to the original plan.
The new revised Vodafone 365 days plan offers live TV and content streaming in partnership with Zee5. The telecom giant is hoping that with its updated Vodafone Play service will play a role in helping it retain its users within the Vodafone-Idea network.
With this move, Vodafone is up for the challenge given by Airtel and Reliance Jio. Airtel recently upgraded its Rs 1,699 prepaid plan to offer 1.4GB daily data benefits for 365 days. Similarly, Jio also has its Rs 1,699 prepaid plan that provides the same 1.5GB data per day.
Vodafone earlier this month made some of the major revisions in its prepaid plans. It revised Rs. 129 prepaid plan to offer 2GB data for 28 days and launched Rs. 205 and Rs. 225 prepaid recharge plans to give up to 4GB data benefits.
