New Delhi: Vodafone Idea has introduced a new promotional offer that gives 400MB extra data to subscribers of select prepaid plans. Users will get extra data benefits on the Rs 399 and Rs 499 plans. Vodafone is only adding extra 400MB data to total data allotment in these plans and other things remain intact.
The first plan that is eligible for this benefit costs is Rs 399 one. Previously, it used to offer 1GB data per day. With the new offer implemented, subscribers can now get 1.4GB data per day. This plan also offers unlimited local and STD calls for a total period of 84 days. However, do note that this offer is only valid if you make the recharge via the My Vodafone app.
The second plan that costs Rs 499 is only valid on the Idea network and therefore, isn’t valid for Vodafone subscribers. This plan initially used to come with 2GB data daily but after the revision, the total data that the subscriber gets is 2.4GB data per day. Similar to the Vodafone plan, subscribers need to make the recharge via the My Idea-Recharge and Payments application.
The free extra data aims to rival Bharti Airtel’s plans that offer more data on popular prepaid plans.
