Vida VX2 launches in India, price starts at Rs 59,490 for BaaS variant
Vida, the electric subsidiary of Hero MotoCorp has launched Vida VX2 e-scooter in India at starting price of Rs 59,490.
Vida, the electric subsidiary of Hero MotoCorp has launched Vida VX2 e-scooter in India. The scooter comes with a BaaS plan and the range starts at Rs 59,490 for Go variant. The top variant goes up to Rs 1.10 lakh for the Plus model (without BaaS).

Hero Vida VX2 is quite an affordable electric scooter, if you are planning to get a BaaS variant. The e-scooter is available in Go and Plus variants. The Go variant with BaaS costs Rs 59,490 while the Plus variant with BaaS costs Rs 64,990.
Without BaaS, the Go variant costs Rs 99,490 while the Plus variant costs Rs 1.10 lakh. The colour options available on the e-scooter are blue, black, yellow, red, white, grey and orange.
Go variant offers 2.2kWh battery while the Plus variant offers 3.4kWh battery. The claimed range of Go and Plus variants are 92km and 142km. Mentioning running costs, the company told that a VX2 model costs Rs 0.96/km. The company will replace the battery without any cost if battery’s performance falls below 70 percent. With the company provided 580W charger, the Go variant can be fully charged in 3hr and 53 minutes. Meanwhile, the Plus variant can be fully charged in 5hr and 39 minutes. Top speed of the Go variant is 70kmph while that of Plus variant is 80kmph.
Go and Plus models come with 4.3-inch LCD screen and TFT screen respectively. Go model gets Eco and Ride modes while Plus model gets an additional Sport mode.
The scooter gets a single flat piece seat, pillion backrest, handlebar shroud and these different it from V2. The similarities with the V2 include headlight, tail-light, indicators. The V2X gets an accessory plastic frunk on the front part. In terms of space, the Go variant offers 33.2-litre boot while boot space of Plus variant is 27.2-litre boot.
