TVS Motors is all set to launch the Apache 165 RP Race Performance Edition in India. The company has teased the video about the same on its official social media handle. As the name suggests, the new Apache 165 RP Race Performance edition will be a premium version of the much popular Apache RTR 160 along with some additional enhancements. The additional enhancements will further enhance the riding experience of the bike.

The teaser video which consists of 14 seconds, reveals that the upcoming Apache 165 RP will be ‘’the pinnacle of performance’’. This means that more performance will be extracted from the machine. The Apache 165 RP is expected to be based on the engine present in the Apache RTR 160 4V. The Apache RTR 160 is powered by a 159.7cc, single-cylinder, oil-cooled engine. The engine churns out a power of 17.63 bhp and a peak torque of 14.73 Nm. The engine is expected to be paired by a 5-speed transmission.

In terms of brakes, the upcoming RP Race Performance Edition is expected to be equipped by a dual-channel ABS unit. We expect that the TVS Apache 165 RP edition will get new kits similar to that of the Apache 310 (which was offered earlier this year).
