The foldable Apple iPhone might be available as early as 2026 mentioned Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman initially reported GSMArena. The device has been in the rumours for a long time. Gurman has also mentioned that the company is preparing “а giant iPad that unfolds into the size of two iPad Pros side-by-side”. The device is expected to be launch around 2028.
The prototypes of the foldable Apple device showed that the screen crease was nearly indistinguishable. According to Gurman’s sources, the screen size was around 20 inches when expanded. The display could be around 18.8-inches.
The foldable device is expected to be like Lenovo Yoga Book 9i. The primary hardware on the Apple device is a single, uninterrupted screen without visible hinges on the front for great experience. The first foldable device from Apple is expected to launch with iPadOS or modified variant of the OS. The foldable iPhone is not expected to launch before 2026.
There were previous reports that indicate that Apple is looking at a flip-style device like the Samsung’s Galaxy Z Flip series.
