Tata Nexon EV achieves 1 Lakh sales milestone
Tata Motors has claimed that it has achieved a significant milestone of selling 1 lakh units of Nexon EV in the Indian market.
Tata Motors has claimed that it has achieved a significant milestone of selling 1 lakh units of Nexon EV. This makes the Nexon EV the country’s first electric vehicle to achieve this sales record. This sales milestone has showed the company’s strong stance and popularity in the Indian EV market.
The Tata Nexon EV made it’s debut in the Indian market in 2020. Following it’s launch, it has received a strong response due to it’s feature list and value-for-money proposition. Since then the company has periodically made improvements and offered updated version of the Nexon, which made it a favourite among the EV buyers of India.
In addition to this, Tata has also made another landmark achievement of putting out over 2.5 lakh electric vehicles on the Indian roads. The brand also dominants around 66 per cent share of India’s electric passenger vehicle market, which is nearly two-thirds of all EVs sold in the country.
The Tata Nexon EV price ranges from Rs 12.49 lakh to Rs 17.49 lakh (ex-showroom). It competes with other EVs in its segment such as the Mahindra XUV400 and the MG Windsor EV.
The EV portfolio of Tata Motors has wide range of products including the Tiago EV, Punch EV, Nexon EV, Curvv EV, and the Harrier EV, along with the XPRES-T EV for fleet operators.
