Tata Motors announces price hike for Commercial Vehicles from January 2025
Tata Motors Ltd has announced that it will increase the prices of its Commercial Vehicle starting January 1, 2025.
Tata Motors Ltd has announced that it will increase the prices of its Commercial Vehicles in India starting from January 1, 2025. Tata Motors has stated that its truck and buses portfolio price will increase by up to 2% across.
The company is currently India’s largest Commercial Vehicle manufacturer. The price hike will apply on the entire range of trucks and buses. However, the price increase will vary across individual model and variants.
Tata Motors stated in an exchange filing that the price increase is due to offset the rise in input costs.
Earlier this week, Tata Motors had announced an increase in the prices of its Passenger Vehicle portfolio by up to 3% starting January 2025.
Apart from Tata Motors, other automobile manufacturers like Hyundai Motors India, KIA and Maruti Suzuki in hiking the prices of its Passenger Vehicles.
Shares of Tata Motors ended 1.5% lower on Thursday at Rs 787. The stock has given up all the gains of 2024 and has turned negative on a year-to-date basis. The stock has corrected 33% from its record high level of Rs 1,180.
