Skoda Kushaq launched at Rs 10.50 lakh in India, Know details about its varients here

Skoda Kushaq, one of the most expected SUV of Skoda, has been launched in India on Monday, at a starting price of Rs 10.50 lakh in India.

The Skoda Kushaq is offered in two engine variants namely a 1.0 TSI petrol engine and a 1.5 TSI petrol engine. Both the engines are offered in 6 speed manual transmission, 6 speed automatic transmission and a 7 speed DSG transmission.

Details about the specifications, variants, price of Skoda Kushaq are as follows:

The Skoda Kushaq will have large LED tail-lamps, roof mounted spoiler along with an option for 17 inch alloy wheels. The lower variants are being offered with 16 inch alloy wheels.

The dimensions of the SUV are 4225mm x 1760mm x 1612mm (length, width and height). The SUV gets a boot space of 385 litres. However, it can be expanded up to 1405 litres after folding the rear seats. The wheelbase of the SUV is 2,651.

The 1.0 litre engine will offer 113bhp of power and 178Nm of torque while the 1.5 litre engine will offer 148bhp of power and 250Nm of torque.

Skoda Kushaq is available in five colour variants which include Candy White, Reflex Silver, Carbon Steel, Tornado Red, and Honey Orange.

The SUV is offered in three variants of Active, Ambition, and Style. While the Active 1.0L TSI MT variant is priced at Rs 10.50 lakh, the Style 1.5L TSi DSG variant is the most expensive at Rs 17.6 lakh.

In India, the Skoda Kushaq will have tough competition from Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Tata Harrier, Nissan Kicks etc.
