Skoda Auto India has started the deliveries of the recently launched Skoda Kodiaq RS in the country. The sporty SUV can be bought at a starting price of Rs 66.99 lakh (ex-showroom). The brand has limited the production units of the SUV to only 50.
All the 50 units of the Kodiaq RS were snatched out as soon as the bookings commenced following it’s launch. The carmaker has now commenced deliveries of the model. The sportier iteration of the standard Kodiaq is offered in four colour options-Moon White, Velvet Red, Steel Grey and Magic Black.
The first Skoda Kodiaq RS model delivered was a Steel Grey shade unit. It is to be noted that the sporty SUV is available in a single, fully loaded variant.
The new Kodiaq RS is powered by a 2.0-litre, four-cylinder, TSI petrol engine that churns out 261bhp and 400Nm, paired with a seven-speed DCT gearbox. This means it offers 60bhp and 80Nm more than the regular version. The seven-speed DCT gearbox helps to send power to all four wheels via the 4×4 system.
In terms of features, the 2026 Kodiaq RS comes equipped with matrix LED headlamps, 20-inch alloy wheels with red brake calipers, 360-degree camera, panoramic sunroof, adaptive cruise control, DCC, front sport seats, reclining second row seats, TPMS, all-black interior theme with red stitching, nine airbags, DCC rear sunshades, 12.9-inch touchscreen unit, and a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster.
