Skoda Kodiaq RS bookings open, Price reveal soon
Skoda has kicked off the bookings for the Kodiaq RS in the India market ahead of it's expected launch in India in coming weeks.
Skoda has kicked off the bookings for the Kodiaq RS in the India market. The company is selling the Skoda Kodiaq RS in a limited numbers of just 50 units for the Indian market. The booking amount has been set at Rs 3 lakh. The performance-focused variant of the Kodiaq will sit above the existing L&K variant in the lineup.
Meanwhile, the company is expected to reveal the price of the three-row SUV in the coming weeks.
The Kodiaq RS is equipped with a upgraded powertrain. This edition of the flagship three-row SUV familiar packs a upgraded 2.0-litre TSI petrol engine that produces 261bhp and 400Nm of peak torque. This output is higher than the standard Kodiaq paired with a seven-speed DCT and Skoda’s 4×4 all-wheel-drive system.
Moreover, the SUV is claimed to offer a 0-100kmph sprint time of 6.3 seconds and a top speed of 231kmph.
The Kodiaq RS stands out from the standard one with a blacked-out grille, ORVMs, roof rails, and window line. It packs all the features offered in the standard Kodiaq including a 13-inch touchscreen infotainment system, digital instrument cluster, cooled and powered front seats, panoramic sunroof, and a three-row seating configuration.
It rides on larger 20-inch alloys with red brake callipers peeking through.
Inside, while Skoda is yet to officially reveal the full cabin specification, the Kodiaq RS is expected to come with RS-specific additions including sport seats, RS motifs throughout, and a black interior theme to match its performance character.
