Revolt RV400 bookings resume in India after months, know details about the electric bike

India’s first electric motorcycle manufacturer Revolt Motors has resumed the bookings for its flagship electric motorcycle RV400 from today. Recently the bike manufacturer had launched a new colour for Revolt RV400 electric motorcycle. It is worth mentioning that the Revolt RV400 is priced at Rs 1.25 lakh (ex-showroom) in India.

The booking of the new electric bike has started in as many as 70 cities across India. This means buyers apart from tier I cities can book the bike. Currently the Revolt Experience centres are available in Delhi, Pune, Hyderabad, Ahmedabad, Chennai, Mumbai and Bengaluru. The company will be expanding its presence in 63 more cities by 2022.

The flagship electric motorcycle offered by the company gets a new colour scheme. This means that the Revolt RV400 will now be offered in three colour variants. The initial booking amount of the bike is Rs 19,999.

The Revolt RV 400 is available in three colours of Mist Grey, Rebel Red and Cosmic Black.

The specifications of the Revolt RV400

In terms of power the bike is powered by 72V, 3.24KWh Lithium-Ion battery. The bike has a top speed of 85 kmph. The Revolt RV400 gets a range of 156 km (ARAI-certified) on full charge. The modes offered on the bike are Eco, City and Sport. Riders can choose from the three modes and accordingly use the bike for their commuting purposes.

In terms of connectivity the Revolt RV400 gets a MyRevolt App. This MyRevolt App enables functions like bike locator/geo-fencing, customised exhaust sound(s), bike diagnostics, battery status, historical data relating to rides and kilometres travelled. The company also offers Swipe to start feature for the electric bike. This feature enables users to start or stop the engine of the motorcycle remotely.

Apart from the RV400, the Revolt Motors offers RV 300 which is the younger sibling of RV400. The RV 300 is powered by a 60V/2.7 kWh lithium-ion battery. The bike delivers a top speed of 65 kmph while the riding range can go up to 180 km.
