India’s largest telecom operator, Reliance Jio has introduced the country’s cheapest prepaid recharge plan. This is also the cheapest plan among the plans provided by any network providers in the country. The plan costs as little as Re 1 and has a validity of 30 days.
The Rs 1 plan is good for those who want to have more extra data for a limited period of time. The cheapest recharge plan offers 100MB of data with 30 days of validity.
The recharge plan is currently visible on the MyJio app but not on the website, at the time of writing. The plan was first spotted by TelecomTalk.
Reliance Jio Rs 1 prepaid plan Details
As mentioned earlier, Jio’s Re. 1 prepaid recharge plan comes with 30 days of validity and 100MB of data. Once users consume the said data, they will get 64Kbps of Internet browsing speed.
Jio has listed the new recharge plan under the ‘Value’ section under ‘Other Plans ‘ in the My Jio app. But, the recharge plan does not show on the official website of Reliance Jio.
TelecomTalk has reported that if a Jio users recharge the plan for 10 times then he/she gets almost 1GB of high speed data which is cheaper than the the dedicated 1GB data plan which costs Rs 15 per month.
Let us tell you that currently, no other telecom operator is giving a prepaid recharge plan that costs as low as the Re 1. There is also no confirmation on how many users will be able to recharge with this plan at the moment.
Reliance Jio has also revised its Rs. 119 prepaid recharge plan. Now, the Rs. 119 prepaid recharge plan is the most affordable plan in the unlimited plans section of Jio. The Rs 119 prepaid recharge comes with a validity of 14 days. It offers 300 SMS messages alongside 1.5GB high-speed data per day, and unlimited voice calls.
