Aprilia India is planning to launch its premium scooter Aprilia SXR 125 in India. Even though the motorcycle manufacturer is yet to announce the price of the scooter in Indian market, the details of its cost has leaked in the market.

According to the leaks on Internet, the Aprilia SXR 125 will be launched at a price tag of Rs 1.16 lakh (ex-showroom) in India. This roughly means that it is the Aprilia SXR 125 is just Rs 9000 cheaper than its elder sibling Aprilia SXR 160.

Interested buyers for Aprilia SXR 125 in our country can pre-order the scooter through the official website of Aprilia. They have to pay just Rs 5000 in order to book the Aprilia SXR 125.

Power: The Aprilia SXR 125 will be powered by a 124.45cc single-cylinder, four-stroke, air-cooled engine. The scooter churns out maximum power of 9bhp at 7600 rpm and 9.2Nm of torque at 6200 rpm.

Suspension and brakes: The premium scooter will have a hydraulic suspension at the front and rear. In terms of brakes the Aprilia SXR 125 will have 220mm front disc brake and 140mm rear drum brake.

Colour: The Aprilia SXR 125 will be available in four colour schemes i.e. Matt Black, Glossy White, Glossy White, Glossy Red and Matt Blue.

In the Indian market Aprilia sells four variants of Storm 125, SR 125, SR 160 and SXR 160.
