Nissan will be launching the CNG version of Magnite in India in April 2025 and this will be through a dealer-level accessory kit, reported Autocar India citing a source. This does not seem surprising as Nissan’s sister company Renault has already offered a dealer-level CNG kit with its models like Kwid and Triber.

The Nissan Magnite will be offered with 1.0 NA petrol-MT and the CNG kit will be fitted by the dealer. According to the report, the Nissan Magnite CNG model will get 1.0-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine with the manual transmission. In the CNG mode, the car is expected to offer 18-22km/ kg. Detailed specifications about the engine output along with the CNG kit is yet unknown.

If we are talking about price, the CNG kit for the Nissan Magnite is expected to cost similar to that of Renault Kiger. The Kiger’s CNG kit costs Rs 79,500 and we can expect similar price for that of Magnite’s CNG kit.
