New Renault Duster AWD expected to launch towards the end of 2025

Dacia- the sister brand of Renault will be introducing the AWD version of Duster SUV across the global towards the end of 2025. This will be good news for those who want an SUV to fulfil their needs.

The new Duster AWD will be offered with an electric rear axle. The specific variant will be the top of the line variant. The company CEO Denis Le Vot has already confirmed Autocar UK that the development will be a new “technological solution’ from the company.

The rear axle will come with e-motor. There will be hybrid as well as automatic versions of the car. Additionally there will be an LPG version. The SUV will be quite affordable.

Currently, the new Duster is offered in three powertrain options. There are 1.0-litre, 1.2-litre and 1.6-litre engine options. The 1.0-litre three-cylinder engine generates 100hp of power while the 1.2-litre mild-hybrid variant generates 130hp of power. On the other hand, the 1.6-litre petrol-hybrid engine generates 140hp of max power. The same electric axle setup will be offered on the Bigster SUV. The new Duster sits on the same CMF-B platform.

Post the launch of Duster AWD, the company is looking forward to introduce an electric version of the Duster. The new generation of the Duster is likely to get electric powertrain and is likely to arrive in 2030 or 2031.

The Duster FWD is expected to launch in India next year.
