There are speculations that fuel prices may rise by Rs 12 to Rs 15 per litre. There are chances that the state-owned oil marketing companies (OMCs) will increase rates.
Petrol prices in cities such as New Delhi, Kolkata, Mumbai, Chennai, and Bangalore have not shown any change today.
It is noteworthy that the global crude oil prices have breached the three-figure mark and have touched remarkable peaks.
However, in India OMCs may increase prices soon say reports.

- In Delhi : petrol costs Rs. 95.41/ltr, Diesel costs Rs. 86.67/ ltr.
- In Mumbai : petrol costs Rs. 109.98/ltr, Diesel costs Rs. 94.14/ltr.
- In Kolkata : petrol costs Rs. 104.67/ltr while Diesel costs Rs. 101.56/ltr.
- In Chennai : petrol costs Rs. 101.40/ltr while the price of Diesel costs Rs 91.43/ltr
