New BMW X3 SUV launched in India at a starting price of Rs 59.90 lakh
The BMW X3 has been one of the premium SUVs offered by the company in India. The SUV has recently received much-needed facelift. The facelift version of the new BMW X3 is available at a starting price of Rs 59.90 lakh and is available in two trims- SportX Plus and M Sport. The SUV is only available with a petrol engine. BMW does not offer any diesel engine for the SUV in India.
The BMW X3 is offered in powered by a 2.0- litre 4-cylinder petrol engine which generates a power of 252 hp and 350 Nm of torque. The engine is offered with an 8-speed automatic gearbox as standard. The BMW X3 has acceleration from 0-100 km/h in just 6.6 seconds.
The SUV is offered as BMW xDrive all-wheel drive as a standard for both the trims. The wheels of the SUV are 19-inches. The all-wheel-drive distributes added traction, driving dynamics and safety in every driving situation. The SUV offers a mileage of 13.17 km/l.
The BMW X3 gets LED headlamps, revised bumper and redesigned tail-lamps with news LED inserts. In the interior the X3 gets 12.35-inch touchscreen. The lower variants of the SUV are offered with a 10.25-inch touchscreen which gets new graphics. The touchscreen gets new features like gesture control. The SUV also gets a virtual assistant and a new 360 degree camera.
Some of the important electronics that are offered in the SUV are three-zone climate control, panoramic sunroof cruise control, adaptive suspension, Harman Kardon Sound system, hands free parking and many more.
Safety features of the BMW X3 are six airbags, Dynamic Stability Control (DSC), side-impact protection, crash sensor, ISOFIX child seat mounting etc.
While the BMW X3 xDrive30i SportX Plus trim costs Rs 59.90 lakh (ex-showroom), the BMW X3 xDrive30i Sport costs Rs 65.90 lakh (ex-showroom).
The rivals of the BMW X3 in India are Land Rover Discovery Sport, Audi Q5, Mercedes GLC and Volvo XC60.
