New Bajaj Pulsar 250 to launch today, New teaser shows additional features

Bajaj has ended the prolonged waiting period for the Bajaj Pulsar 250 and has announced the launch dates. The Pulsar 250 and the Pulsar 250F will be launched in the Indian market on October 28 (tomorrow). With the introduction of the new pulsar twins, Bajaj is expected to take the Pulsar series to a new level. Bajaj had earlier announced the news launch through a teaser video. The company has again teased about the upcoming bikes in a new teaser video. The second teaser video shows the upcoming bike in some new angles.

Even though the exact specifications of the new Pulsar 250 are not announced by Bajaj, some of the upgrades could be seen in the teaser video. The new Bajaj Pulsar 250 will have an upgrade in terms of design as well as engine specification. However, the premium Pulsar will retain some of the features from its younger sibling.

The engine will be more beefy, and will produce more power and torque. It is expected that the engine will generate a peak power of 26 PS and maximum torque of 22 Nm. The engine is expected to be a single-cylinder oil-cooled unit.

In terms of design, the Bajaj Pulsar 250 looks bit similar to its predecessor. However, the stark contrast comes in the form of a bulky fuel tank, different tail lamp and a distinguished head lamp. Some of the other distinct features include step-up saddle, clip-on handlebar, fairing mounted rear-view mirrors etc. The second teaser video shows the bike’s different exhaust note. The bike features a dual-barrel exhaust canister which makes an impressive design to the bike. The exhaust sound is just a treat to the ears.

Engine and electronics on the Bajaj Pulsar 250 will definitely get an upgrade in comparison to the 220F. The LED DRLs appear to be starkly contrasting to the other pulsars. It is expected that the instrument cluster will be entirely digital as compared to its predecessor. The monoshock suspension of the bike will be a significant upgrade over the 220.

However, more or less, it is quite visible from the teaser video that the new Bajaj Pulsar 250 will carry forward the legacy of the existing Pulsar series. Upon its launch, the new Bajaj Pulsar 250 is expected to be priced somewhere around Rs 1.5 lakh ex showroom in India. At the present moment, we are eagerly waiting for the launch of Pulsar 250.
