New Bajaj Pulsar 250 officially teased, to go on sale in India from October 28

Bajaj Pulsar has been one of the favourite sports bikes of the youth for approximately two decades. However, the Pulsar range was limited to 220cc. This will come as good news for many sports bike enthusiasts in the country that the new Bajaj Pulsar 250 will get launched on October 28. Bajaj has announced the news launch through a teaser video. Post its launch, the new Pulsar 250 is expected to be the flagship bike of the pulsar series.

Even though the specifications of the new Pulsar 250 were not announced by Bajaj, some of the upgrades could be seen in the teaser video. The new Bajaj Pulsar 250 will have an upgrade in terms of design as well as engine specification. However, the premium Pulsar will retain some of the features from its younger sibling. The engine will be more beefy, and will produce more power and torque.

In terms of design, the Bajaj Pulsar 250 looks bit similar to its predecessor. However, the stark contrast comes in the form of a bulky fuel tank, different tail lamp and a distinguished head lamp. Some of the other distinct features include step-up saddle, clip-on handlebar, fairing mounted rear-view mirrors etc.

Engine and electronics on the Bajaj Pulsar 250 will definitely get an upgrade in comparison to the 220F. It is expected that the engine will generate a peak power of 26 PS and maximum torque of 22 Nm. The engine is expected to be a single-cylinder oil-cooled unit. The LED DRLs appear to be starkly contrasting to the other pulsars. It is expected that the instrument cluster will be entirely digital as compared to its predecessor.

However, more or less, it is quite visible from the teaser video that the new Bajaj Pulsar 250 will carry forward the legacy of the existing Pulsar series. Upon its launch, the new Bajaj Pulsar 250 is expected to be priced somewhere around Rs 1.5 lakh ex showroom in India. We are just hoping that Bajaj drops some major clues about the Pulsar 250 ahead of its India launch.
