Maruti Suzuki Jimny To Feature Five-doors, Check Engine Capacity, Specifications Here

Maruti Suzuki is all set to introduce its upcoming SUV ‘Jimny’ in the Indian market. The Jimny is supposed to be launched as a 5 door model in the local market. However, the specifications about the car were unknown to the enthusiasts.

Recently, the specifications about the Jimny were leaked on the internet and it has created much hype among the car market.

Some of the important details about the Jimny are as follows:

Dimensions: The SUV will have a length of 3850mm while the width is 1645mm. The height of the vehicle stands at 1730mm while the wheelbase is 2550mm. The ground clearance of Jimny is 210mm. On the other hand, the SUV gets 15 inch wheels

Engine: The Jimny will feature a 1.5 litre petrol engine which will generate maximum power of 101bhp and 130Nm of torque. There is also a possibility of a variant with 1.2 litre petrol engine.

Transmission: The SUV is expected to have a 5 speed manual transmission and a 4 speed automatic transmission.

Price: Even though there is no leak about the price of the Jimny, it is expected to be priced similar to that of the Vitara Brezza. The Brezza currently costs between Rs 8.5 to Rs 13.3 Lakh (On –road Bhubaneswar).
