Mahindra XUV700 deliveries to start from October 30; plans to deliver 14,000 units by January 14

Mahindra is finally going to start the delivery of its latest flagship XUV700 to customers. Mahindra XUV700 is scheduled to get delivered to customers in India from Saturday that is October 30. The company is going to deliver the petrol variants of the XUV700 SUV initially followed by diesel models from the end of November 2021.

Mahindra is planning to deliver at least 14,000 XUV700s by January 14 next year. This means they have aimed to deliver about 187 units of XUV7000 SUVs everyday. However, Mahindra has also stated that the  delivery dates may get delayed due to the ongoing global pandemic and its impact on supply chain.

Mahindra XUV700 SUV was launched last month and the booking started from October 7. The SUV received a total of 25,000 booking in the first 57 minutes of booking. It received booking for an additional 25,000 units on 8th October in just 2 hours. More than 65,000 bookings have been received for the Mahindra XUV700 in the two weeks.

The Mahindra XUV700 SUV was introduced with a price of Rs 11.99 lakh (ex showroom). However, it was later revised after the first initital 25,000 booking to Rs 12.49 lakh (ex showroom). The price of the top-spec trim AX7 Luxury (Seven seater) +AWD SUV is at Rs 22.89 lakh (ex-showroom).

2021 Mahindra XUV700 comes in 5 and 7 seater configurations in four basic trims including MX, AX3, AX5 and AX7. The SUV is offered with both a mStallion 2.0 turbo-petrol and a 2.2-litre mHawk diesel engine, mated to a manual and automatic transmissions. Customers can pick between five or seven-seat configuration.

The petrol motor can churn up to 200 hp of peak power and has 380 Nm of peak torque. The diesel engine can produce up to 182 hp of maximum power and 450 Nm of peak torque.

Mahindra XUV700 packs many advanced feature such as Advanced Driver Assistance System or ADAS, Pilot Assist feature, Alexa voice integration support, 12-speaker Sony audio system with 3D sound, 10.25-inch dual touchscreen infotainment system, 3D maps on driver display and much more.

The latest SUV also flaunts the largest-in-segment sunroof and electronically-adjustable driver seat with memory function.

2021 Mahindra XUV700 will compete against polar cars like Hyundai Creta and Alcazar, Tata Harrier and Safari along with other rivals in respective segments in the Indian market.
